They’re partnering with O+A again for a refresh and will reveal the new space during NeoCon 2015.
We can hardly believe NeoCon 2015 is only a few weeks away. As we start to pencil in the showrooms we’re most psyched to visit, Kimball Office is topping the list.
The furniture manufacturer earned a lot of buzz—and record attendance—last year after partnering with Studio O+A to redesign the showroom, and according to Kimball Office president, Mike Wagner, they haven’t slowed their roll.
Last year, the O+A touch “generated an unprecedented amount of excitement in and around our brand, and this year’s design will push the envelope even further,” Wagner said in a press release. “Studio O+A is widely considered a global design leader in workplace strategy and their Bay Area influence brings fresh perspective on the latest in fashion and materiality.” This year’s fresh take will be revealed in a few weeks, during the show.
According to Primo Orpilla, the “O” in O+A, the Chicago showroom is a great mini-theater for showing off workplace versatility. “We want the Kimball Office showroom to be a demonstration of how many ways a work environment can inspire, facilitate, accelerate, and make work fun,” he said.
