2018 was an amazing year filled with many exciting events in the workplace design industry. The seemingly endless list of conferences around the world where workplace practitioners hope to learn about the newest and greatest concepts in our community can be hard to navigate. In the spirit of broadening our horizons and our networks, we asked our readers to tell us which events they are most excited for in the new year. Our ever-expanding global group of followers brought the resulting list to our attention. Celebrating its 10th year in May 2019 the award-winning CDW has firmly established itself as the UK’s leading independent design festival and annually attracts the international design community to this small area of London for three days of exciting events. In 2018, the design community flocked to Clerkenwell with 34,060 attendees and over 300 exhibiting brands.
New York, New York | June 2019 (exact date TBD)
Workplace Week is a week-long celebration of workplace innovation, shining a light on best in class workplace design and management practices, focusing on how organizations are improving the employee experience. The weeks are always philanthropic, too. Last year’s event in NYC raised money for the I Have A Dream Foundation and allowed attendees access to some leading workplaces including Neuberger Berman, Delos, Nickelodeon, and Viacom. Chicago, Illinois | June 10-12, 2019
NeoCon marks its 51st edition as the world’s leading platform and most important event of the year for the commercial design industry. The conference continuously reinvents itself and we’re very excited to see what moves outside of theMart during this important multiple-day event in the furniture industry. Workplace Week is a week-long celebration of workplace innovation, shining a light on best in class workplace design and management practices, focusing on how organizations are improving the employee experience. The weeks are always philanthropic, too. In 2018, more than 750 workplace professionals across London enjoyed a line-up involving more than 50 organizations, 30 workplace tours, and 8 dedicated fringe events. A total of £22,000 was raised – with all proceeds donated to BBC Children in Need.
