Emily Morris is a professional Interior Designer at SmithGroup San Diego’s office. Graduating from University of Wisconsin Madison with a Bachelor of Science in Interior Architecture, she has a passion for designing both small- and large-scale commercial environments. Her education and work experience have given her a strong understanding of the design thinking process—a solution-based, collaborative approach to tackling complex scenarios. She strongly believes interior design is more than just breathing color, texture, and furniture into a space. It is about using design to establish belonging, engagement, and identity for all users in various environments. In her spare time, Emily enjoys yoga, weightlifting, live music, and fine cuisine.
