Leonora is a skilled leader in the practice of design with experience across North America. In her 20+ years in the A/E industry her career has ranged from overseeing the technical details of multi-floor office high rises to leading executive and facilities teams through visioning sessions for hundreds of millions in design work. Over her career she has developed a strong reputation for leadership, research, and advocacy for the advancement of architecture as a discipline, valuing sustainable, responsible solutions that respect client needs and the environment.
Leonora’s passion for integrated design stems from her varied experience with demanding projects, where minor details can result in massive savings to schedule, cost, space performance, and on the user collaboration that is paramount to innovation. Believing that design excellence stems from tangible, measurable positive impact for the client and community, not accolades or aesthetics, Leonora has a passion for utilizing evidence-based design to successfully integrate interiors with architecture to the benefit of users and clients. Her work covers a wide range of project and client types from workplace to senior housing to higher education, and she brings these diverse clients’ goals to life through structured visioning sessions where she identifies, researches and implements innovative design solutions.
