Vickie leads the interior design for various sectors at Stantec on multiple projects across Southern California. As a health and wellness practitioner, she incorporates sustainability and green-building practices in all of her considerations to create healthy spaces that improve the quality of life for people and communities. From space planning to the cohesion of design intent, Vickie tells the story of a space. She builds it up from an empty box to a detailed, effective opportunity for interactions between people. Her recent projects have included work on student housing for the University of California, Davis, and clinics for Hoag Health Centers. If you catch her outside of work, it might be underwater. Vickie is currently obsessed with scuba diving, and she just became recuse diver certified. She volunteers for cleanups, and she’s also volunteered in reef surveys. She also paints, runs races, and paddle boards—her main hobby is having hobbies.
