We first introduced the CLU Duo Monitor Arm Set at NeoCon 2019. Visitors loved how flexible and easy to position it was. As everyone played with the arms (they move seamlessly) ideas flowed about how it could be incorporated into their projects so easily whether it was outfitting cubicles, offices, or open workspaces. That was our first taste of how popular the CLU line would be!
What was the inspiration for this design of this product?
We set out to create a quality monitor arm that will suit any workspace. It needed to be easy to adjust for ergonomic comfort, highly durable, stylish, easy to install and price competitive.
To accomplish this, we use German engineered gas spring technology to provide smooth, even movement so you can easily find the most comfortable viewing position. Materials like diecast aluminum and powder-coated metal ensure long-lasting performance. And we pared down the number of components so set-up is quick and frustration-free – a huge benefit whether you are installing multiple units or a single monitor arm in a home office.
What innovations in the use of materials or fabrication are utilized in the manufacture of this product?
Novus developed this monitor arm solution in Germany to meet the highest quality standards for function, durability, and longevity. We have used quality materials to develop a monitor arm that is strong yet surprisingly lightweight.
